While both styles work to keep your film tight and eliminate telescoping, the new pointed profile offers a more forgiving fit on the bar—so you don’t have to worry about the shim “missing” or not seating properly.

Just like before, these shims close the gap between your film and the handler ears, keeping rolls from shifting while you cut. Mix and match the 1/4" and 1/8" thicknesses to dial in a snug fit between the 3" hubs and the film for consistently straight cuts.

Durable, 3D-printed, and more affordable than bulky aluminum alternatives, these updated shims give you the same reliable performance—just with a smarter, easier-to-seat shape.
